Planning a project

How to start a project

Start by describing the current workflow, desired outcome, systems involved, and the problem that needs to be solved.

Last reviewed

You do not need a finished architecture or technical specification to start a conversation with Celes7a. A useful first enquiry explains the current process, the systems involved, the result you need, and the part that is slow, unreliable, or manual.

Start with one workflow

Choose a specific business event or process boundary. For example, a website enquiry may need to create or update a CRM record, a document may need to be validated and routed, or an order status may need to reach a customer-support platform.

A focused workflow makes it easier to identify interfaces, risks, owners, and measurable acceptance criteria. Wider modernization can still be discussed, but a clear starting boundary helps turn the conversation into an actionable first step.

What to include in your enquiry

  • The applications or systems involved
  • What starts the workflow
  • What should happen when it succeeds
  • What currently fails, takes too long, or requires manual work
  • Who uses or owns the process
  • Any known timing, volume, compliance, or release constraints
  • Your preferred timeline and optional budget range

Plain language is welcome. Product names, a short process description, and an example of the desired outcome are usually more useful at this stage than a large collection of technical material.

What not to send

Do not submit passwords, API tokens, private keys, connection strings, payment information, confidential customer records, or sensitive production data through the contact form or support messaging. If approved work later requires access, the secure method and least-privilege permissions are agreed separately.

Screenshots or sample data can be useful only after credentials, personal information, and confidential values have been removed. When in doubt, describe the field or error rather than copying the original value.

What happens after you contact Celes7a

The first response will normally clarify the outcome, workflow boundary, systems, dependencies, and next decision. If the scope is sufficiently clear, this can lead to an initial estimate or quotation. If uncertainty is high, a focused diagnostic or discovery step may be recommended before a larger implementation.

Messages are reviewed Monday–Friday and normally answered by the next business day in India Standard Time. This is an asynchronous contact channel rather than a guaranteed live-chat or emergency-support service.

Preparing for a productive discovery

It helps to identify one person who understands the current process and one person who can approve the desired result. Relevant vendor documentation, non-sensitive field names, approximate transaction volumes, and known access limitations can be gathered after the initial contact.

The aim of discovery is to define the smallest reliable result, how it will be verified, and the dependencies that could affect cost or schedule. No commitment to a particular technology is required before those facts are understood.

The first conversation may also identify that the immediate need is advice, an architecture review, or a feasibility check rather than implementation. Clarifying this early avoids unnecessary design work and helps everyone understand the next decision, expected output, and information required from each participant.

How pricing and quotations work

Pricing is based on confirmed scope, delivery risk, dependencies, uncertainty, and the level of implementation or support required.

Typical delivery stages and timelines

Delivery normally moves through discovery, design, implementation, verification, release, and handover, with timing shaped by project dependencies.
